OUR TEAM

Darren Brookes FIPA MABRP

Darren started his career in corporate recovery in 1992 when he joined Hacker Young as a trainee. In 1995, he subsequently joined a firm which became BDO and qualified in 2001. After a year travelling the world in 2002/2003, he joined this firm and subsequently became a partner. He deals with initial meetings with directors and their advisors, devising an appropriate strategy and ensuring the proposed strategy is delivered. He also takes responsibility for business development and overall management of the business.

A former non-league footballer, Darren has now hung up the boots but can be persuaded to engage in the odd 5-a-side game. A dedicated family man; he divides his time between watching Manchester City and spending time with his wife and four children.

Natasha Baldwin

Natasha joined the team in 2010, having worked previously for one of the big four banks.

Natasha passed the JIEB examinations in 2015 and is actively involved in all aspects of case administration on all types of insolvency.

She enjoys spending time with her two young daughters but says she keeps her sanity by coming into the office!

Helen Hood

Helen joined the firm as a junior administrator in March 2000 and has progressed to become a Senior Manager. She passed her JIEB in 2006 obtaining the 1st place prize from the Insolvency Practitioners Association.

Helen is responsible for case management and technical compliance as well as being involved in delivering proposed strategies on individual cases and reporting to relevant stakeholders.
Helen has three young sons and a daughter, a dog and a house renovation to keep her busy outside of the office.

Antonia Pettener

Antonia has over 19 years’ experience of case administration within the corporate recovery sector having joined the firm in 1999.

As a case manager, Antonia is actively involved in case work undertaken immediately following appointment and is responsible for delivering the proposed strategy and for reporting to all stakeholders as necessary.

A keep fit fanatic.

Andrea Griffin

Andrea joined the Company in February 2018.

Andrea worked for over 23 years in accounts and debt recovery.

When not working Andrea loves spending time with her daughter, family and their dog Ruby.

Sally Baggs

Sally Joined the Company in January 2021.

Sally has previously worked as an English and Foreign language teacher and an accounts administrator.

In her spare time Sally enjoys a range of outdoor sports such as trail running, mountain biking and hiking.

Natalie

Natalie joined the Company in June 2023

She previously spent 20 years in Administration before taking time out to look after her young children.

In her spare time Natalie loves to spend quality time with her family and her dog.
She loves playing pool, going to concerts and listening to music.

Lucy

Lucy joined the Company in April 2023

She previously worked as a Personal Tax Assistant within an accountancy firm.

In her spare time Lucy keeps herself busy looking after her two cats and her 6-month-old puppy. She enjoys travelling with her husband and having cocktails in the sun.

Terri

Terri Joined the Company in May 2022

She previously worked as a case handler at a law firm for 5 years.

In her spare time, she volunteers at her local Scout Group. Terri loves music and is always collecting new records and enjoys spinning on the decks. She also, loves going to concerts with her family and friends.

Jason

Jason joined the Company in April 2023

He previously worked in business and corporate lending for one of the big four banks.

In his spare time, he enjoys being outdoors, hiking, swimming and exploring new places. Jason enjoys cooking lovely meals with his girlfriend and always planning the next holiday.
